Terms of Service

1. The service

Paliro lets clubs and teams publish schedules, collect families' answers, and send changes and cancellations by app, email and SMS. It is a communication tool, not a club management or accounting system, and it is provided as described on the pricing page.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to create an account or a club. A player may get their own account from the age of 13, only when a coach or club admin invites them. You are responsible for the email address and devices you sign in with; sign-in links are personal and must not be shared.

3. Clubs and roles

A club is created and owned by a club admin, who may add teams, coaches and further admins. Coaches manage their team's roster, schedule and answers. The club decides which players and guardians it adds and is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so, including a guardian's consent for children.

Coaches and admins may see families' contact details and answers for their teams; families see only their own child's data. Everyone must use the data they see only for running the team.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• add people or players without their (or their guardian's) knowledge,
• use notes, notifications or SMS for anything other than team matters, or for harassment, advertising or spam,
• attempt to access other clubs' data, disrupt the service or circumvent its limits,
• upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share.

5. Plans, trial and payment

The Free plan covers one team with the limits shown on the pricing page. Club and Club Pro are paid monthly or yearly, in euros, plus VAT where applicable, and are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout and may change with at least 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

A club that has never subscribed gets one 14-day free trial with a card on file; the card is charged when the trial ends unless the subscription is cancelled first. A club that cancels is not eligible for another trial and is billed from the day it subscribes again.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time under Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded for the remaining time unless the law says otherwise. After it ends, the club becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, and choosing a plan again restores it.

If a payment fails we tell you and retry; after 14 days without a successful payment the club becomes read-only until the payment is settled.

6. SMS credits

SMS alerts are paid per message at the rate of your plan. Club Pro includes a monthly allowance; every plan can buy credit packs. Purchased credits do not expire while the club exists, are used only for messages the club sends, and are not refunded once used. Messages go only to guardians who verified a number and opted in, and only when a change has not yet been seen by push or email.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Paliro available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance, provider outages and force majeure can cause downtime. We may improve or change features; a change that removes something you pay for will be announced in advance.

8. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant Paliro the right to store and process it to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy. Club admins can export their club's data, and users can delete their account, at any time.

9. Termination

You may close your account or club at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where reasonable, or immediately if the breach is serious. A closed club is kept read-only for 30 days so its data can be exported, then deleted.

10. Liability

Paliro is provided with reasonable care but without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, our liability to a club is limited to the fees that club paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as missed games or lost data caused by circumstances outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or the mandatory rights of consumers.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia and the European Union. Disputes go to the competent court in Ljubljana, Slovenia; consumers keep the protections and forums their home law grants them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Paliro after that date means you accept them.
